#5 - The Supporting Cast.

One of the main reasons I love this version of Sherlock is that all of the supporting cast is smart or brilliant in their own way. Lestrade is no longer the bumbling idiot, Mrs. Hudson is the most amazing housekeeper landlady in the world, and even the adorable woman who works in the morgue has a place in it all. And, of course, Mycroft is such a sly amazing man who gets his way in at Sherlock, even if Sherlock hates it.

They aren’t just fillers, they’re not there to move the story along, they are people that are pulled into Sherlock’s crazy world
